TATTOO BROWS

Here at Blink & Ink Livvy prides herself of her wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to brow tattooing. Livvy trained back in 2020 with New Zealand's leading cosmetic tattooist, Feather Touch by Cherie. Since 2020, Livvy has completed numerous amounts of other trainings with world famous artist to perfect her skill in hand with having done over 500 sets of brows giving her a wealth of expertise.

There are several different styles of cosmetic tattoo brows, each offering a unique look and catering to individual preferences depending on what you are looking for. Please keep in mind that tattoo brows can be as dramatic or as subtle as the you want them to be and the below before and after photos are fresh off the needle which means they will heal 40% softer than the photo for a beautiful natural yet defined look.

Tattoo brow appointments run in two sittings; you will initially have your first appointment where Livvy will cover everything with you along with checking your medical information sent out prior to the appointment. This is where you can discuss what you are trying to achieve. Livvy will then begin pre drawing your brows so you can see what they will look like prior to numbing and tattooing the brows. Livvy will explain what she is doing and trying to achieve throughout the process, so you are informed every step of the way. Once Livvy is happy that the mapping of your brows are symmetrical and naturally complimenting your facial structure you will get a look at your final pre draw which once you are happy Livvy will then proceed to the tattooing.

 

POWDER BROWS

 

 

 

Powder brows also known as shading, is a method that involves the application of pigment in a soft, powdered effect to create a more filled-in and defined brow appearance. It is particularly suitable for those who have little to no brow hair, seeking a denser, more "made-up" look. 



OMBRÉ BROWS

 

 

Ombre brows create a gradual, faded look, with the pigment being lighter at the front of the brow and gradually darkening towards the tail. This style is most popular as it can be created to look very subtle and natural or as glam and sharp as each client desires.

 

HAIR STROKE BROWS


 

 

This technique is the most natural option out of all brow tattoo options. This technique uses a handheld tool to create fine, hair-like strokes that mimic the appearance of natural eyebrow hair. It is often favored for its realistic and natural-looking results. This brow look is achievable for any client as Livvy can craft this look by either a microblade or by nano strokes from a tattoo machine.

 

COMBINATION BROWS

 

 

As the name suggests, this style combines microblading with shading techniques to achieve a balanced and natural-looking result that offers both defined hair strokes and a filled-in appearance. This style of brow can only be done if you have no previous brow tattoo.

 

CORRECTION BROWS
Correction tattoo brows can be a popular option for individuals who want to enhance the look of their already existing tattoo eyebrows carried out by another artist. Naturally as brow tattoo ages the pigment can break down to be either cool or warm, also it is common to lose the definition of the shape which means the brows will most likely need remapping and colour correction.
